The Role
As a Senior Strategic Account Executive, you will be a key player in driving accounting excellence and supporting business innovations at HubSpot. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with Product and Sales teams, ensuring seamless execution of major business initiatives and system implementations.

Key Responsibilities

Act as an accounting subject matter expert for strategic business changes and system implementations.

Develop detailed accounting requirements while aligning with end-to-end process goals.

Design, document, and execute testing plans, ensuring internal and external audit alignment.

Facilitate process improvements through automation and new tools, including AI.

Conduct user acceptance and parallel testing for system accuracy.

Integrate acquired companies or subsidiaries into existing accounting workflows.

Document and maintain SOPs for consistency and knowledge sharing.

Support the Accounting team in adopting and scaling new systems and processes.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Experience: 3-6 years in accounting roles (preferably Big 4 and industry).

Skills:

Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue and commissions accounting.

Proficiency in Excel (experience with NetSuite and Looker is a plus).

Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

A passion for continuous learning and improvement.
