Educational Qualification:
SSC Executive (Information Technology):
- Applicants must have a minimum of 60% marks in English in class X or XII and one of the undermentioned educational qualifications with a minimum of 60% overall qualifying marks, in either or a combination of the following:
- M.Sc/B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech (Computer Science/ Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Engineering/IT/Software Systems/Cyber Security/ System Administration & Networking/Computer Systems & Networking/Data Analytics/Artificial Intelligence) OR
- MCA with BCA/B.Sc (Computer Science/ IT).
NCC Candidates: NCC ‘C’ certificate holders will be given a relaxation of 5% in cut-off marks towards short Listing for SSB subject to meeting the following criteria:
- Having NCC ‘C’ Certificate of Army/Naval/Air Wing with Min ‘B’ Grade.
- Served for not less than two academic years in the NCC’s senior division of the Naval/Army/Air Wing.
- ‘C’ certificate should not be dated before 01.01.2022
Who can apply?
- Candidates who have graduated or are in the final year (regular/integrated) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
- The university for those mentioned above should be incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be Universities!
- Candidates who have obtained a degree in Engineering (regular/integrated) with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA/System from such foreign University!
- The government of India should recognize the University/College/Institution for an Engineering Degree/equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universite established under the AIU Act 1973.
Training:
- Candidates will be inducted into the rank of Sub Lieutenant.
- Selected candidates will undergo a six-week Naval Orientation Course at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.
- This will be followed by professional training at Naval Ships and training establishments as per extant regulations.
Probation Period: 02 years
Age Limit for Indian Navy Jobs: Born between 02 January 2000 and 01 July 2005 (both dates inclusive).

- A merit list would be prepared based on SSB marks.
- Candidates declared fit in the medical examination would be appointed subject to police verification, character verification & availability of vacancies in the entry.
