Senior Manager, HR Compliance
As the Senior Manager of HR Compliance, you will report directly to the Head of People Operations. This role involves managing compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including OFCCP regulations. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining People policies and the Employee Handbook, working closely with both HR and Legal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws. Review and update policies to maintain compliance.
- Open Reporting System: Oversee the Datavant Open Reporting/Concern Raising Process, including case management and resolution of People-related concerns.
- Employee Handbook: Maintain and update the employee handbook, including state and local supplements, and track distribution.
- Training and Reporting: Ensure all annual training obligations are met (e.g., anti-harassment, EEO, FMLA, ADA, OFCCP) and manage annual reporting requirements (e.g., EEO reports, OFCCP, VETS, California Pay Data).
- Policy Development: Collaborate with legal counsel to update policies based on regulatory changes and provide guidance to employees and managers.
- Data Tracking: Ensure compliance with OFCCP data tracking requirements across applicant tracking, payroll systems, and HRIS.
- Internal Audits: Lead internal audits and manage responses to compliance reviews and audits by state and federal agencies.
- Affirmative Action: Monitor and ensure compliance with federal affirmative action plan requirements, including tracking progress towards annual AAP goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in HR Compliance, with expertise in Affirmative Action Plan development, management, and OFCCP reporting and audits.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of federal and state compliance reporting, including FLSA, ACA, ADA, COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, OFCCP, Title VII, HIPAA, and other DOL regulations.
- Skills: Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Proven ability to partner with internal teams and drive compliance projects forward.
