Computer Vision Intern:
Essential Education / Qualifications / Experience:
- Candidates pursuing or has completed MS/MSc/M.Tech/PhD level degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Data Science, Information Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Applications or other closely related technical discipline will be considered for the internship program.
Duration of the internship:
- The internship will be for 6 months starting first week of August 2024.
- The working hours are from 9:00 AM to 18:00 PM IST (Monday to Friday).
Essential Skills:
- Strong knowledge and relevant programming experience with Python, PyTorch, and other ML and DL libraries, mainly for Computer Vision tasks.
- Prior experience in applying advanced transformer-based models to video understanding, situation/action recognition and caption generation problems for videos.
- Prior experience of using advanced object detection models.
- Experience in successful implementation of state-of-the-art models for video analysis-based tasks.
Good to have Skills:
- Demonstrated research capabilities through relevant publication record in top-tier conferences like ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS, CVPR, ECCV, etc.
- Programming experience with Scikit-Image, Pandas, OpenCV.
- Knowledge on efficient large vision models, foundation models or multi-modal approaches for different computer vision tasks using videos.
- Strong mathematical understanding of ML concepts.

Detailed Eligibility:
Speech Recognition Intern:
- Currently pursuing/completed Master’s in (Research) or PhD in deep learning/machine learning with hands-on experience on Transformer models with applications audio/speech.
Must have Skills:
- Strong programming skills in Python, shell scripting, PERL
- Hands-on deep learning, machine learning (Pytorch, Tensorflow)
- Development of APIs (FastAPI, etc.)
- Sound knowledge of speech technologies
Good to have skills
- Expertise in Pytorch
- Prior experience in the development of Indian Languages ASR
